It describes the changes in the user interface, as well as the new features of Altium Designer 18 related to multi-board projects and 3D simulation of designs.

Measurement of the parameters of amplifiers, mixers and differential devices using a vector network analyzer The article considers the use of Rohde & Schwarz ZVA vector network analyzer for measuring the parameters of active devices (amplifiers), frequency conversion devices (mixers) and carrying out the differential measurements. It is noted that the R&S® ZVA VAC provides convenient and cost effective solution for these measurement tasks.

Antistatic protection when removing coatings from printed-board assemblies using Borey machine The article considers the implementation and effectiveness of antistatic protection using Borey machine for microabrasive removal of waterproof coatings developed by Ostec group. The experiments showed a high level of antistatic protection in Borey machine and the safety of removal of waterproof coatings even from the most expensive and demanding printed-board assemblies.
